Who we are

We are a group of De Montfort University Academic and Professional Service staff, and post-graduate students, whose work is defined in some way by pedagogic research, educational research, scholarship of teaching and learning, and pedagogic innovation. This incorporates early career academics, established pedagogic and educational researchers, DMU Teacher Fellows and National Teaching Fellows, and those engaged in academic development and learner-support. There is no barrier to engagement with the IEF, and our key prerequisite is that members immerse themselves in our emergent communities of practice, as they feel able.

At present there are 90 members of staff and PGR students signed up to our distribution list. These staff are located in our four faculties and in Library and Learning Services. If you wish to join the distribution list, for updates about dissemination and development activities alongside mentoring support, please email Richard Hall.

There are details of our staff members, with details of their research and scholarship interests, on our profiles page.

If you are an undergraduate student who would like to be involved, you would also be most welcome. Again, please email Richard Hall.
